About Us
Welcome to Hollow Bone Artworks, a multi-genre, multi-artist site showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions including sculpture, painting, drawing, photographs, beadwork, cards, and ornaments.

Sue is a real artist. She graduated from the Parsons School of Design in New York City with a degree in illustration.
She has 4 kinds of cones in her eyes, so what she sees would be frankly astonishing to most people. Deeply spiritual, sensitive and empathic, she's tuned into a wide spectrum of connections that have nothing to do with vision or hearing.
She paints, draws, takes and edits photographs, makes and works with beads, and generally makes things look awesome.
She also loves rocks, shells, bones, feathers, and all that nature stuff.
Mike is a self-taught outsider artist who has pretty much no idea what he's doing, allowing him to unknowingly run roughshod over what's normally considered art.
He has only 3 types of cones, unless he's looking for something directly in front of him. Then he has no cones at all. It's a gift.
He's recently learned welding, and has a great time scavenging metal from dumpsters, junk yards, and enlightened friends and neighbors, and making what the hollow bone and the metal tell him to.
Animals seem to like him too.
